Floor Time for FOI Reform

We are now at an important juncture on the OPEN Government Act (S.849). This bill has been passed out of the Judiciary Committee with a favorable vote (and a similar bill has passed in the House). The legislation has wide support across the political spectrum and is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and NAM, as well as by a broad spectrum of public interest organizations. We want Senate leadership – Sen. Harry Reid and Sen. Mitch McConnell – to schedule floor time in June.

Please call Senators Reid and McConnell and tell them this month is the time for this bi-partisan good government bill to come to the floor for a vote.
